I'm a graduate of the Costume Studies diploma program at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, and am currently enrolled in Algonquin College's Applied Museum Studies program.
I'm thinking about getting a tablet. None of my computing stations in this apartment are conductive to a real mouse, and with my recent adoration of the Nintendo DS (which is stylus based), I thought that a tablet would be a lot of fun. I've been looking at the hilarious cheapie ones on e-bay (of the 10 to 40 dollar variety). I've re-allocated money to Paypal and when it becomes available, I'll see where we're at. It'd be fun to use for artsy purposes, of course, but I'm mostly just looking for a mouse-alternative here ; I've been playing with shentao's tablet on my laptop, and the more I dick around, the more fun it is.
